Dr Manina Pathak

Dr Pathak is a specialist developmental-behavioural paediatrician with extensive experience in managing complex neuro-behavioural and developmental issues of  children and adolescent.  She completed her paediatric specialist training at The Canberra Hospital (TCH) and  Women’s and Children’s Hospital Network(WCHN) in Adelaide. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, member of the RACP Chapter of Community Child Health, Neurodevelopmental and Behavioural Paediatrician Society of Australasia (NBPSA) Society of Developmental & behavioral Pediatrics (SDBP). She completed  Master of Public Health from the University of Newcastle.

Dr Pathak has over 10 year’s experience in Paediatrics. She worked in various settings such as multi-disciplinary assessment team at Child development unit, Early childhood intervention teams and Mental health services for children and adolescent. She got accreditation as Autism diagnostician through Autism SA. After finishing her clinical training, Dr Pathak  worked as clinical research associate at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for one year.

She has experience in assessing and managing children and adolescents with ADHD, Autism spectrum disorder, other behavioural and emotional disorders, mood disorders and learning difficulties and disorders.

Dr Pathak is a mother of a daughter and understands the challenges of growing family. Her aim is to improve the outcomes of children with Neurodevelopmental- behavioural difficulties and the families as unit.

 

Dr Katie Morgan

Dr Katie Morgan is an experienced developmental and behavioural paediatrician with a particular interest in ADHD, autism and developmental concerns.

Dr Morgan completed her specialist training in 2010 through Sydney Children’s Hospital. She has worked as a developmental and behavioural paediatrician for ACT Health in Canberra since 2011 in the Community Paediatric and Child Health Service and the Child at Risk Health Unit.  In these positions she has gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex neurodevelopmental and behavioural disorders.  Prior to this Dr Morgan worked in various locations in multidisciplinary teams in Sydney and Liverpool. She has been working in paediatrics since 2003.

Dr Morgan is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, a member of the Chapter of Community Child Health and the Neurodevelopmental and Behavioural Paediatric Society of Australasia. She is a member of the world federation of ADHD.  Dr Morgan holds a Masters of Public Health from the University of NSW.

In her free time Dr Morgan enjoys spending time with her young family, trail running and travel.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Dr Anuradha Thirupathy

Dr Thirupathy is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist based in Canberra. She did her medical school in India and moved to UK before moving to Australia in 2006. She completed her Fellowship training in Psychiatry through The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and has also completed sub-specialty training specifically in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Disorders, allowing her to achieve a prestigious Certificate of Advanced Training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

She now works as a Child and Adolescent psychiatrist with her public appointments at Child and adolescent mental health services Northside and at Eating disorders program. She has expertise in the management of a broad range of mental health issues including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, Neurodevelopmental disorders and has developed a particular interest in the management of Eating Disorders in children and adolescents. She is also keen to provide care for the adult population especially young people transitioning to adulthood.
